A cross-section of what we are marketing today: offices, warehousing, trade counter space, retail and investment stock across Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire.
Placeholder, not final content. The live property grid binds into this section once the YOOtheme dynamic content plugin (shipping in pkg_katosync) is installed on this site. Nothing here is hand-written property data: the stock resyncs from the Kato feed and static cards would be out of date within the hour.
In their words
How we worked
Five clients, describing the work in their own words. Nothing in this section has been written for them: each quotation is drafted with the client and approved by them before it appears here.

What we do
Two sides of the same market
Derwent Hillside acts for landlords who need the right occupier, and for occupiers who need the right property. Knowing both sides is what makes the advice worth having.
Landlord agency
Your space marketed properly to find the right occupier, not just the first one through the door.
Occupier search
Tell us what your business needs to do and we will find the buildings that let it do it.
Advice on size and fit
How much space you actually need, how it should be arranged, and what it will really cost to run.
Legislation and lease terms
The obligations that come with a building, explained before you sign rather than after.
Occupational trends
What comparable businesses are paying, taking and leaving behind across the three counties.
Investment and development
Investment stock, development sites and land, brought to the right buyers discreetly.
About
You call the firm. You get the person doing the deal.
Matthew launched Derwent Hillside in 2021, to build on 20 years of experience with Vail Williams and Curchod and Co. Dealing with all aspects of commercial property agency, he has developed longstanding relationships with large institutional investors and private property companies, as well as occupiers from across the South East.
Boutique access, institutional pedigree. There is no call-handling layer and no graduate surveyor learning your building on your time. The person who answers the phone is the person who has walked the unit, knows the landlord, and knows what the last three lettings on that estate actually went for.
We believe that property should not be the cause of headaches.
So the advice is clear, honest and in the best interest of our clients, even when the honest answer is that the building is wrong for you, or that your space needs a different tenant to the one you had in mind.
